initials are recorded or even addresses.

place names have changed since inclusion in the paper, however old names have
been used.
Cranley
is now Cranleigh, Cambridge town is
now Camberley.
Aldershot
was often spelt Aldershott, the present spelling has been used for this.
Be
aware boundaries have changed, for example Dunsfold was once much larger,
Bramley has expanded and taken areas once listed as Dunsfold.
As
this site is intended for various areas of research. Entries are repeated apart from date.
For
example J W Barfoot was not only the owner of the paper, he was involved in
other areas as well, for some researchers it may be helpful to see how long
a trade lasted, if the trade ceased, or was taken over.
